Sonny Label was created by a Mama with a love for cute threads for her mini and an abounding frustration to find cute boys clothes that weren't covered in dinosaurs, sharks or camo print (...amirite!?)

When the time came to return to my corporate graphic design role after 12 months of maternity leave, the pull to stay at home with my mini, and best friend become too strong. And thus, Sonny Label was born. Whilst on maternity leave I was making little pieces here and there for my son, Banks, and thought what better way than have it all; keep the creative juices flowing by designing, sewing and sharing gorgeous pieces with other mums and bubs, and work at home with Banks running around me so I can spend many more moments frolicking in the sun with him. A couple of years in, and with another toddler, Zephyr, in the mix, plus another on the way (surprise, surprise...another boy!), Sonny Label has become more than a hobby and side hustle. 

Many, many hours of love go into designing every collection, as well as hand-making all the pieces from our Mama Collection in a little sunroom in Sydney, Australia. All our pieces are cut and sewn in ethical, sustainable factories offshore from a variety of little pockets around the world, and every order is lovingly packed by from our little home HQ - sometimes with extra, cute little chubby hands helping.
